Pedal Building Courses

This is your chance to learn about all the components that go in to making a guitar effects pedal. 

​​We'll walk you through building your own Distortion/Fuzz pedal, using high quality components on a purpose built circuit board. The pedal circuit itself will have tweakable elements, allowing you to tailor the build to your own taste.
It works great as a volume boost, as this pedal has a very high output, but also gets really dirty, easily holding it's own in the Fizz/Distortion arena. Dial back the gain a little and you can use it as an overdrive to push your amp into that sweet spot of drive.

You'll learn a range of skills whilst building the pedal, including basic electronics, soldering, drilling enclosures, troubleshooting circuits and how a guitar pedal works.

You'll be guided through each stage in a small class, where you'll have time to answer questions, learn new skills and ultimately create your pedal.

After this we'll show you how you can go about building more pedals yourself, including covering a range of basic equipment needs, great resources and advice on where to begin.

Making pedals is a great hobby, thoroughly enjoyable and very rewarding, all whilst you learn some pretty useful skills.
